Jalissa Pirro and Riley Pacer attended the 2025 Association of American Geographers in Detroit to present their thesis research. Riley's poster was titled "UAS-based Lidar Assessment of Surface Rugosity in Restored Tallgrass Prairie. Jalissa's poster was titled "Using UAV-based LiDAR to Quantify Miscanthus Height and Stem Count".
